Citizens and Ratepayers of North Rodney - you are being constantly ripped off!
The Northern Action Group (NAG) commissioned independent and professional modelling, which shows we wouldn't need any of these if we had our own stand-alone North Rodney Unitary Council.
Rodney (Hide) got us in this mess. Winston denied us his promised referendum. We expect Luxon's pre-election promise of a review of AC will get forgotten… Sadly, the idea of communities having a say about their own local democracy seems to have escaped our decision makers.
However….
We can still make a difference with what we have to help us improve our local governance. Representation changes, better District planning, water reforms and better roads are all a start…. and (don’t hold your breath) we are working with our Kaipara friends on a united Kaipara/Mahurangi UA vision.
All our advocacy work is voluntary and we don't ask for an annual subscription, but rely on donations to cover our expenses.
If you support real localism in local government, please donate to help us shake off the shackles of Auckland Council
